This white rhino was killed by poachers on a wildlife reserve in South Africa. Unfortunately, the poachers escaped into the bush before wildlife rangers could intervene. Since the poachers were unable to remove the rhinos horn, the wildlife vets must now perform forensics and an autopsy to search for any signs that may lead them to the poachers.

According to the latest rhino poaching statistics, white rhinos were poached in Africa at a rate of 2.4 per day, or one every 10 hours.
