Every year an estimated 10 million girls are married before they turn 18. Nearly half of them live in South Asia. In February 2012, Girls Not Brides brought together over 70 organisations from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, to discuss how to create change across the region. All were united in the belief that together we can end child marriage and give every girl the opportunity to fulfil her potential.
