'Terrifying Moment Building Collapses During Morocco Earthquake'

A devastating 6.8 magnitude earthquake occurred in central Morocco on Friday night.

Resulting in at least 800 deaths and 329 injuries, confirmed by Morocco’s Interior Ministry.

The earthquake struck just after 23:00 local time, and its impact was felt in various cities across Morocco.

The U.S. Geological Survey reported a 4.9 magnitude aftershock 19 minutes later.

The earthquake affected six provinces in the Atlas Mountains, located in the central part of Morocco, close to the city of Marrakesh.
