This video depicts a group of employees trying to determine what gender their new coworker is by asking the new co-worker various inappropriate questions that make the individual uncomfortable. This is an example of gender ambiguity in the workplace and can result in tension in the workplace between coworkers of the opposite sex. In addition, gender bias in the workplace can be extremely detrimental to the victim's self-esteem and can consequently affect his/her performance in the company. Diversity and inclusion are essential to the success of a company as it creates a positive and healthy environment for workers to thrive in.
