Dr. Prerna B. Sahani , associated as a News Editor with India's largest circulated newspaper. Professionally she is a Management graduate but journalism and mass communication is her passion . She have been in the print media industry for almost a decade and a half .In this invigorating journey , she have not only ascended the learning curve but also did Ph.D. in a subject that was brought to surface by Daniel Goleman (a senior correspondent with the New York Times ) viz. Emotional Intelligence . She fathomed the relationship between Emotional Intelligence and print media management.
The challenges in this industry are not just limited to gender but also biological clock and a 24 by 7 sense of urgency and accuracy.Despite these, it is a beautiful profession where one can delve into the emotional,rational and sensory arms simultaneously and deliver value to the reader.
