A grand jury decided on Wednesday not to indict NYPD Officer Daniel Pantaleo for the death of Eric Garner after Pantaleo put him in a chokehold during an arrest in Staten Island on July 17. Protesters put out a call to converge on the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting event to broadcast to the nation that officer involved deaths like Garner's are unacceptable.
