Hurricane Ian is moving towards Florida as a Category 3 storm with 120 mph winds. Ian will hit Florida’s West Coast as an extremely dangerous, major hurricane, according to the National Hurricane Center.

A Hurricane Warning has been extended southward on the west coast of
Florida to Chokoloskee.

A Storm Surge Warning is in effect for Tampa Bay, Suwannee River southward to Flamingo, Dry Tortugas, Flagler/Volusia Line to the mouth of the St. Mary's River and the St. Johns River.
