Specifically addressed was how co-treatment of opioid, marijuana, and nicotine use maximizes polysubstance use treatment and mental health outcomes. Dr. Morris presented the bio-psycho-social evidence for co-treatment models. Health systems change strategies were shared for integrating tobacco dependence treatment into behavioral health agency workflows and existing service offerings.
