About the Conference:

Arts and culture provide the “Soul” for a community and social ballast that enables different communities to engage in, learn about and from each other. Arts and culture also revitalises a community through creation of new jobs and spurring creative industries within a community which makes a city or community liveable, sustainable and an endearing home for its constituents.

What are the challenges faced in this process, especially in an increasingly global world and multicultural societies fraught with fault lines along, economic, cultural, religious, and other issues that can be divisive?
