A green screen project which I intend to do with my grade 9 drama class this term. Highlighting crucial issues through comedy. With reference to the news video’s produced by THE ONION, my grade 9’s will attempt their own News spoof projects - shedding light on issues that need to be addressed. This is the teacher’s attempt, which the students will watch and critique at the start of the first lesson of term 2. They will then proceed to conceptualize, develop, create and perform their own news spoof - overtly entertaining their audience and covertly challenging them.
