A world that runs on green energy: Ørsted’s vision for the energy transition
Ørsted is a renewable energy company aiming to develop and deploy market leading green energy solutions that benefit the planet and energy consumers alike. A global leader in offshore wind with a 25% market share, Ørsted currently operates 12 offshore wind farms in the UK, its largest market, with more in development.
In this lecture, hosted by Energy Futures Lab, Duncan Clark, Ørsted’s Head of UK, and Sophie Lewis, Senior Commercial Project Manager for Ørsted’s Hornsea Three wind farm project, set out the company’s vision for a world powered by green energy and discuss how the UK’s wind energy ambition can be achieved. The lecture is followed by a discussion chaired by Energy Futures Lab co-director Professor Anna Korre.
