Alexandra Salvador was told she had as little as six months to live when she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Her friend encouraged her to get a second opinion. That's when she found Dr. Emily Winslow at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital who performed a Whipple procedure which left her with no evidence of disease.
