Diagnostic tests revealed she had stage IIB endometrial cancer. After a radical hysterectomy, she underwent 25 radiation therapy and two brachytherapy sessions over six weeks at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, while turning to a range of supportive care services to help manage side effects. “Cancer has changed my life, in a lot of good ways,” she says.
