TAKE ACTION
Concerns are raised about how budget cuts will affect care for Oklahoma's veterans. The Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs suffered another cut in its appropriation for 2018, bringing the total amount cut since 2009 to almost 10 million dollars. Meanwhile, the Federal VA hospital in Oklahoma City has improved its quality of care, after coming under fire in a USA Today article in 2015. This story aired on the ONR on OETA-The Oklahoma Network.
