The Trumps are the only first family in recent history not to have a dog in the White House with them. Biden’s German shepherd, Major, was rescued from the Delaware Humane Association back in 2018. The staff at the shelter said they were surprised when Biden took his time hanging out with them on the day of Major’s adoption.
