‘Early diagnosis saves lives’.

As with many other cancers, the earlier blood cancer is picked up and diagnosed, the better the treatment outcomes are.

Because of the vagueness of the symptoms, which include tiredness, frequent infections, itchy skin, night sweats, sore bones and bruising, 33% - 10,000 cases - of all blood cancers are diagnosed via the emergency admissions route. This is too late and we want to change this because early diagnosis saves lives.

The more awareness of the disease there is amongst the public and medical professionals, we can help to encourage earlier diagnosis – literally saving lives.
