Religious Delusions and Schizophrenia/Schizoaffective Disorder
In this video, I share my thoughts on common religious delusions. In no way am I discrediting religion in itself, I know it can be extremely valuable. I am however bringing awareness to the fact that one of the types of delusion commonly experienced by people living with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder is religious in nature.
I know many people find religion or spirituality to be helpful in their mental health journey and I completely support that. When it becomes delusional is when it becomes problematic. And this can be a difficult line to draw sometimes.
