So much relationship advice for women is that they should stay together for the kids.

It's one thing to work on fixing the problems in your relationship together.

--But, when your husband is so distant and disconnected
--He doesn't want to fix the problems in your relationship
--He doesn't even want to talk about it
--He tells you that there are no problems
--If he does admit there's a problem then it's all your fault
--He tells you that you need to just get over it

That's a huge problem right there.

Because if he's not willing to fix the problems then the relationship is stuck and cannot grow.

And, if a relationship isn't growing, it's dying.

The idea is that kids need both parents and therefore women should put aside their feelings of:

Unhappiness
Sadness
Anxiety
Anger
Resentment
Bitterness
Fear
Loneliness
Depression (in some cases)

and stay in relationships and marriages that have become unhappy, unloving, unfulfilling, with little to no sex or intimacy, where there's distance and disconnection, where they're more like roommates more than lovers.

Now, I'm all for kids having both parents in their lives.

There's far too many runaway dads whose kids end up suffering the emotional scars and feelings of abandonment, lack of trust and low self-esteem among many other issues.

However, it's time to change the age-old relationship advice for women to just suck it up and stay together for the sake of their kids.

There are reasons when ending a relationship or a marriage can be the best decision to make not only for women but for the kids.

Because kids learn from the environment they grow up in.

And, when the home environment is filled with unhappiness, tension, anger, bitterness, resentment, distance, disconnection, sadness, fear or worry...

...When your man doesn't work on fixing the problems in your relationship, tells you the problems are all your fault and you suffer in silence, afraid to bring up your relationship issues because it always ends up in an argument...

...It can have a tremendously negative impact on the kids.

As parents, we are our kids biggest role models and earliest influences.

They learn from our example.

So, when you and your husband are constantly arguing, distant, unhappy, sad, angry or unloving toward one another your kids are learning about what relationships are supposed to be like from you.

It's a difficult decision to make but too much of the relationship advice for women that promotes staying together for the kids doesn't take into account the long-term effects that can have on your kids as they grow up.

Think of it this way:

Would you want your child to stay in a relationship that makes them unhappy, sad, angry or depressed?

Of course not, right?

No loving parent would want that for their children and yet so many women choose this for themselves by staying in relationships and marriages where they feel like this every single day.

In today's video, I share some serious relationship advice for women about the reasons why you should not stay together for your kids.

Whether you choose to stay or leave your relationship is up to you.

But, you should never make a decision without considering all the facts.

Enjoy the video.
