Project ECHO® at the University of New Mexico Health Science Center is an innovative continuing education model that uses Zoom to link specialist teams with hundreds of primary care providers and educators in underserved areas. The organization just received support from the U.S. Congress for the ECHO Act, which will increase access to specialized healthcare for underserved populations nationally.

Hear from Bill Szaroletta, P.E., from Project ECHO at the University of New Mexico, and Kent Unruh Ph.D., for the University of Washington’s Project ECHO, about how they are using Zoom video technology to reduce rates of chronic disease and improve healthcare in rural areas around the world.
