A group of art students in Taiwan came up with a weird treat for the heat: popsicles made from polluted water.

They aren't edible (you can not eat polluted sewage popsicles!), but they do make an important point about our environment and water supply.

The art students, from New Taipei City in Taiwan, collected polluted water samples and sewage water which they then froze in molds and preserved in resin.

The Taiwanese art students wanted pollution popsicles to be a form of activism artwork — a way to build awareness.
