A new strategy for England to help people lose weight includes a ban on “buy one get one free” deals on unhealthy food.
There will also be a ban on TV adverts for unhealthy food before 9pm and new requirements to show calories on menus.
63% of adults in England are overweight or living with obesity and obese people are much more likely to become seriously ill with Covid-19.
The prime minister Boris Johnson has said he struggles with his own weight and he's urging people to take action to improve their health.
