NCBM Disaster Relief - New Feeding Unit #2

A moving van trailer was converted into the new mobile feeding unit during 2011 thru February 2012. This clip demonstrates some of the features and construction process that consolidated 4 separate mobile units into one self-contained kitchen. The unit rolled out on February 29 from Raleigh.The new Unit 2 joins a fleet of many response vehicles and mobile feeding kitchens as sponsored by the NCBM (men, women and students). Many Hayes Barton Baptist Men and Women led in the upfit of this trailer. We thank them for their passion on this important ministry.This mobile kitchen can feed up to 30,000 meals a day when fully deployed using 8 convection ovens and 4 tilt skillets. This unit features a 36 KW generator.
