Hakeem Rahim is NAMI Queens/Nassau's Let's Talk Mental Illness ™ presenter. To date he has presented to over 15,000 students. Students hear a first-hand story of illness, wellness and recovery; gain an understanding of statistics, facts, and stigma about mental illness; learn basic signs and symptoms and the importance of seeking help for themselves or a friend.
