Lamboginny brought the attention of the President of The World Bank Group (Mr Malpass) and the Executive Directors on the issues of basic education for incarcerated men and women in prisons across Africa and how the World Ba reform topic to the World Bank Group Annual Meeting in DC, nk Group could create job opportunities for returnees within the work force, during the WBG -CSO Townhall meeting. ‬
Discussion around prison reform has not taken a lead among the issues being addressed by the Bank’s educational policies and inclusion. If we truly want to achieve an inclusive sustainable society, we must leave no one behind - including those behind bars.
