Irresponsible Breeding Marked Frog For Life

Normally, a bulldog like Frog would be adopted from the shelter in a heartbeat - but sadly, a condition that he's had since birth had made it hard for him to find a home anywhere.

This condition is known as Spina Bifida and Frog developed it due to a malformation of his spinal cord while he was in his mother's womb. Though there's no way to be sure, rescuers have estimated that this defect occurred because of irresponsible breeding - and when his condition became known to his breeders, he was thrown out. For days, he sat at the shelter and looked for anyone who might save him - and thankfully, that's when rescuers at Marley's Mutts Dog Rescue found him.

Frog has since been taken into foster care, where his caretakers are learning more about him by the day. He is a happy-go-lucky dog who just wants the chance at a good life but he is plagued with the various symptoms that his condition causes, including difficulties walking and incontinence. Right now, rescuers are looking for donations to cover his checkups as well as belly bands, diapers, and any other supplies that may help make life a little easier for him.
