Many people are using the Internet of things (IoT) every day and it also has broad applications to help save the environment and improve health. But in order to do so we need a trained work force. Prof Xiang is the Founding Professor and Head of Discipline of Internet of Things (IoT) Engineering at James Cook University and an elected Fellow of the IET and Engineers Australia. Wei is a well-recognised international leader in IoT and has been awarded several prestigious awards and fellowship titles.
