Sarah le Brocq has struggled with her weight for most of her life. She was told that fertility can be affected by obesity, but knew that she wanted to become a mother one day. However, as Sarah finally fell pregnant, the pregnancy was not at all a walk in the park, as she was constantly reminded of the risks of being pregnant while being obese. Listen to Sarah’s story and the fact that medical issues were not the main obstacle for a happy pregnancy, she was constantly faced with stigmatisation and prejudices.
