During his lecture "What Are the Genes Required to Make a Seed? Importance for Food, Fuel, and Engineering New Crops" Robert B. Goldberg, distinguished professor of molecular, cell and developmental biology at UCLA and a member of the National Academy of Sciences, talks about how the genetic engineering of seeds can solve world hunger.
