HHCI Webinars – Perfect Storm for Mental Health Issues During COVID-19

As the full weight of the COVID-19 pandemic was settling on the country’s shoulders, more than one in four Americans (children and adults) met the criteria that mental health providers use to diagnose serious mental distress and illness. That represents a roughly 700% increase from pre-pandemic data collected in 2018. These extraordinarily large rates of mental distress pushed our nation into a Mental Health Crisis.

This seminar will give an overview of the effects of the pandemic on people’s psychological well-being.
