In this video I talk about Emotional Regulation and Dysregulation in Relationships when Attachment Trauma is present. Many of us can feel emotionally off-center and dysregulated when our insecure attachment style triggers old attachment trauma.
I explore how we can use the dysregulation as an assessment tool to look at the quality of our relationship bonds and also to seek out self-care. Self-care in this instance includes seeking out others so that our nervous systems link up as part of a shared experience in the inter-subjective field of relating.

I also talk about subtle dysregulation as sometimes being overlooked, especially if for the most part in other areas of our life, we consider ourselves to have good skills of regulating.
