Ellen welcomed back Eric Stevens, a firefighter who was diagnosed with ALS just one month after marrying his college sweetheart, Amanda. They chatted about how their life has changed since their last appearance, and how they went to Washington D.C. to talk with politicians and lawmakers about approving treatments for ALS. Ellen and her friends at Shutterfly gave them another unexpected gift of a down payment for a new home!
