The Camp Fire recently swept across northern California, creating the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California history. The fire burned thousands of acres and countless structures, leaving many in Butte County with nothing to go back to.

In response, VSP activated its disaster response programs. A mobile eye care clinic spent two weeks in Chico, CA, delivering no-cost eye care and replacement eyewear to nearly 400 people affected by the fire and providing eye care gift certificates to another 470 people in the area.
