Program Overview
Health care practitioners tend to focus on the impact of medical interventions to treat diseases and improve health. However, nutrition and lifestyle factors also impact the health of individuals and populations. These non-medical health interventions are being investigated more frequently in the medical literature. As health care practitioners, we should be familiar with current information related to nutrition and lifestyle factors as our patients often inquire as to their impact on health and wellness. This program will address contemporary issues and questions related to the impact of nutrition and lifestyle on health in an entertaining "fact or fiction" format.

Pharmacist Educational Objectives
- Describe two current issues of interest related to nutrition and lifestyle and the impact on individual and/or population health

-Summarize the findings of recent clinical trials related to the effect of nutrition and lifestyle on health

-Compare and contrast the findings of recent clinical trials with commonly held beliefs related to nutrition and lifestyle beliefs
