Believe it or not, water, an element that covers over 70% of the Earth’s surface, is going scarce. Decreasing precipitation and rising populations could bring about multiple events of water shortages in the United States. This may come as a surprise to anybody who hears it. How could water, a resource so abundant, be going scarce? It’s an actual problem that a lot of people might encounter in the near future. The thing is: Not a lot of people talk about it, we focus so much on the pandemic, climate change, and political situations that we easily gloss over the simple facts and the possibility that we might be losing access to even the most basic necessities
