Ahmaud Arbery's mom after hate crimes trial: We got victory, but some other families don't

Wander Cooper Jones said she begged officials for them not to take a plea deal in the case. By not doing so, she said the DOJ got justice for her son.

Travis McMichael, Greg McMichael, and William Bryan were found guilty Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022, in the federal hate crimes trial after killing Ahmaud Arbery.
The verdict was announced one day before the 2-year anniversary of his death.
