Addressing Issues in the Craft Beer Community: Misogyny, Sexism, and Assault Exposed

Last week, the craft beer community was faced with a harsh reality. A simple question posed by Brienne Allen (@ratmagnet) on her Instagram story about experiences of discrimination in the work place was the catalyst of a massive awakening. Her inbox was flooded with 1000s of stories concerning sexism, misogyny, assault, racism, and more.

The accused stretched from individuals working in the craft beer industry to entire breweries and the cultures they’ve created. Many brave individuals shared these stories anonymously and Brienne shared them on her Instagram story.

We at Let’s Have Some Beer have always been advocates of equality and respect in the craft beer community. As a result, we find it necessary to speak out on this current revelation.

All experiences discussed in this video are allegations and not confirmed as factual, however, we encourage you to make your own judgments for yourself.
