This webinar is the second of two webinars on how Nutrition International’s Nutrition Technical Assistance Mechanism (NTEAM) (https://nutritionintl.us17.list-manage.com/track/click?u=01915fae04ff62b26784b1892&id=6e75caf449&e=494aa652cd) is supporting governments in their national responses to COVID-19, adapting the support from its Technical Assistance for Nutrition (TAN) (https://nutritionintl.us17.list-manage.com/track/click?u=01915fae04ff62b26784b1892&id=92cd2864c5&e=494aa652cd) project. NTEAM promptly reviewed its ongoing TAN assignments with two objectives. Firstly, to confirm they remained relevant and feasible, adapting them where necessary. And secondly to include as much support as possible for the planning and implementation of national responses to both the immediate nutrition-related fallout of the pandemic, as well its longer term nutrition-related implications. This webinar mini-series:

1. Explores how Nutrition International’s TAN technical assistance in Bangladesh and Ethiopia rapidly adapted to support each country’s COVID-19 response planning.
2. Provides an opportunity for participants to ask questions about, and share their own experience with, adapting their nutrition-related work in response to COVID-19.

This second webinar covering Ethiopia was moderated by TAN Project Director, Anne Babcock, with opening and closing remarks from Nutrition International’s Africa Regional Director Dr. Richard Pendame, and presentations by the following speakers:

• Senior Nutrition Advisor, Ministry of Health and SUN Focal Point, Ethiopia, Dr. Ferew Lemma
• Nutrition International’s Country Director, Ethiopia, Dr. Amare Deribew
• NTEAM Technical Assistance Provider in Ethiopia, Dr. Sisay Sinamo

We hope that the learnings from these webinars can help inform governments and the global nutrition community as they work to respond to and overcome challenges presented by COVID-19.
