WATCH: U.S. attorney says Eric Garner case is now closed
Richard Donoghue, the U.S. attorney for eastern New York, announced Tuesday that the U.S. government's investigation into the 2014 death of Eric Garner has been closed. He said there was "insufficient evidence" to move forward with the case against the officer who put Garner in a chokehold while arresting him.
