Beth Ryan feared her life might be cut short after being diagnosed with triple-positive breast cancer during the week of her 49th birthday. But after a variety of treatments at Loyola’s multidisciplinary Breast Oncology Center, her prognosis is very good. “She is a perfect example of how we attack breast cancer on many fronts now, including chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, novel antibodies and anti-estrogen therapy,” said her medical oncologist, Kathy S. Albain, MD, FACP, FASCO. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please visit https://www.loyolamedicine.org..../cancer/breast-cance or call 888-584-7888.
