This Agricultural Scientist develops a high-zinc rice to fight malnutrition in children. As the prices of nutritional food and healthy keeps rising that a large number of the population can't afford, this scientist has developed a rice with the different nutrients like zinc and sulfur to fight malnutrition which can be a clear cheap substitute to other expensive nutritional diets.

Dr. Girish Cahandel is a Researcher, Teacher mainly working in the field of Biotechnology. Well known for his researches for improving rice with high nutrition. He is a Member of Research Advisory Committee of NIBSM, ICAR Raipur, CEO at CG Biotechnology Promotion Society, Govt of Chhattisgarh, Raipur. OSD at Biotech, Department of Agriculture, Govt of Chhattisgarh, Raipur.
