Just Another Day? Child Poverty at Christmas can be devastating

For most children Christmas is a time of joy but poverty, homelessness, ill health and family breakdown mean that so many children in London are not looking forward to Christmas. We've partnered with the Metropolitan Police Service to ensure that thousands of disadvantaged children in London who are at risk of not getting a present will receive one this Christmas via the Met Christmas Appeal. We hope that everyone will be generous and gift a present or donation so that we can make this a Christmas to remember for thousands of children in need across London.The presents will be given to children aged from one-week to 17-years-old.
