SCTR Institute and National REACH Coalition Host Digital Storytelling Workshop - Ten community advocates from all over the southeast came to the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) College of Nursing for a two-day digital storytelling workshop. The workshop brought technology, advocacy, and media literacy together by teaching the uses of digital storytelling as a tool for social change. The group viewed examples and participated in discussions and interactive tutorials. By the end of the workshop, each participant had developed a digital story about health equity. Dr. Carolyn Jenkins is the principle investigator of the REACH grant, and Community Engagement Project Director of the Center for Community Health Partnerships at MUSC's SCTR Institute.
