Streets are empty, shops are closed and people are out of work, public gatherings have been banned in many places and travel restrictions have been imposed. And all of this is having a major impact on the global economy. The United Nations says we may see a $2 trillion shortfall in our global income and a $220 billion hit to developing countries because of COVID-19.
