CDC's Injury Control Research Centers: Research in Action
CDC funds Injury Control Research Centers (ICRCs) to study ways to prevent violence and injuries and work with communities to put research findings to practice. The ICRC program includes 10 centers at universities and medical centers across the country. These centers form a national network of academic, public health, and community partners to conduct prevention research and promote practices to prevent violence and injuries.
