➡️C&P exams can be extremely stressful for veterans. There are three questions that the examiner has to answer when they examine you for a PTSD claim.
- Stressor verification
- Mental health diagnosis
- What level of functioning do you have, and how is it negatively affecting you.
The C&P Exam is not a test. It is an evaluation. The evaluator is a mental health professional. Their job is to try to find out if you have a mental health condition related to a stressful event on active-duty military service.
